AI B-Roll Cut

Paste the voiceover script, upload your footage, and AI B-roll cut matches a short shot to every phrase, then renders one MP4 with captions.

New B-roll cut

  1. Upload your clips: up to 500 .mp4 or .mov files.
  2. Paste the voiceover script, in English or Chinese, up to 8 minutes of speech.
  3. AI reads every clip and picks a shot for each phrase of the script.
  4. Render one MP4 with burned-in captions and download it.

The video has a silent track for now: add your own voiceover in your editor. Uploaded clips are kept for 7 days.

B-roll cuts use purchased credits. Reading clips, matching the script and rendering are charged; a step that fails is refunded.

How AI B-roll cut works

  1. 1

    Upload your clips

Drop up to 500 .mp4 or .mov files. Your browser draws a strip of frames from every clip and uploads it with the clip, so nothing waits on a slow server.

  2. 2

    Paste the script

Paste the voiceover in English or Chinese, up to about 8 minutes of speech. The script is split into caption-sized phrases with a time for every word.

  3. 3

    AI matches the footage

AI reads every clip once, describes what each part shows, and ranks the parts that fit each phrase. A fixed assembler then cuts shots of under a second on the 30 fps grid.

  4. 4

    Render and download

Check the timeline phrase by phrase, then render one MP4 in 16:9 or 9:16 with the captions burned in, and download it.

What AI B-roll cut does for you

  • A shot for every phrase

Each caption gets footage that matches its words, so the picture follows the story instead of a random montage.

  • Fast, sub-second cuts

Set the longest shot from half a second to two seconds. Every cut lands on a frame and on the start of a caption.

  • No clip used twice too soon

The assembler uses an unused second of footage before it repeats one, and a clip never follows itself.

  • English and Chinese scripts

Chinese scripts are timed by character and English scripts by word, and the captions break where a reader expects them to.

  • Large footage libraries

Up to 500 clips of up to 500 MB each go straight from your browser to storage, three at a time, with progress for every file.

  • A timeline you can read

Every phrase lists its shots with the clip name, the source time and the length, and filler shots are marked.

Who uses AI B-roll cut

  • YouTube explainers and essays

Cover a long narration with stock or archive footage without scrubbing through hundreds of clips by hand.

  • Product and brand videos

Match your own product footage to a launch script, then add the voiceover in your editor.

  • Short vertical videos

Cut a 9:16 video for TikTok, Reels or Shorts with fast shots and captions that viewers can read on mute.

  • Chinese talking-point videos

Paste a Chinese voiceover script and get footage cut to every line, with Chinese captions burned in.

What a B-roll cut costs

  • AI B-roll cut needs purchased credits. A free account cannot use it.
  • Credits are charged step by step: reading clips (per batch of 8 clips), matching the script (per part of the script) and rendering (per minute of video).
  • The editor shows the credits still needed to finish before you start, and asks you to confirm.
  • A step that fails is refunded, and the work already done is kept, so a retry costs only what is left.
