Sales Funnel Animation: Show Where Your Customers Go
This sales funnel animation turns three to six stages, from first visit to purchase, into connected slices that grow in turn while the numbers count up and the conversion rate between each step appears on its own. Type your numbers, let AI write the title and takeaway for free, and render an MP4 in 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1.

A Sales Funnel Animation Built Stage by Stage
A funnel is the clearest way to show how many people move from one step to the next and where most of them leave. This template draws your stages as connected trapezoid slices, from the widest at the top to the narrowest at the bottom. The title comes first, then each stage enters 1.2 seconds after the one before it, starting at 1.4 seconds, with its value counting up from zero. Each slice is wider for a larger value, plus a minimum width so even a tiny final stage keeps room for its label. The accent color turns a shade darker on every stage, so the eye follows the path down. Three stages make an 8.6-second clip and six stages make 12.2 seconds.
Conversion Rates the Sales Funnel Animation Calculates
You never type a percentage. Between every two stages, a small badge shows the step conversion rate, which the video calculates from your values: the second stage divided by the first, the third by the second, and so on. Rates of 10 percent and more show as whole numbers, and smaller rates show one decimal place, such as 4.5%. Values are whole numbers from 0 up to one trillion, shown with thousands separators. Add an optional unit of up to 10 characters, such as users, leads or a currency sign. A currency sign goes in front of the number and a word goes after it. Because the rates come from your own numbers, the sales funnel animation always adds up.
AI Writes the Story, You Supply the Numbers
Describe your funnel in the brief with its stages and numbers, for example visitors, sign-ups, trials and paying customers, and Write with AI fills the title, the stage labels, the values, the unit, the takeaway and an accent color for free. Each label is one to three words and holds up to 20 characters. AI is instructed to use only the numbers your brief gives. When your brief has none, it uses clearly round illustrative values and says so in the takeaway, so nobody mistakes the clip for real results. The takeaway of up to 60 characters names the one insight to remember, such as Most users leave before the trial starts.
Dark or Light Theme and a Free Frame Check
Pick a dark or light theme and one accent color, either your brand color or one AI suggests. Then run the free AI frame check. It renders three stills of the funnel and shortens a title, label or takeaway that would be cut off. Because the animation is a pure function of time, the stills match the final MP4 frame for frame, so the video you pay for looks like the preview. Every render up to 20 seconds costs about 10 credits, and the longest funnel lasts 12.2 seconds, so the price is the same for three or six stages. For several values side by side instead of a flow, the animated bar chart video fits better.
How to Make a Sales Funnel Animation in 3 Steps
- 1
Choose a frame for the funnel
Select 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube and slides, or 1:1 for LinkedIn and square feeds. The funnel needs no photos. You can switch frames later without losing your numbers. Sign in first, because writing with AI and rendering both need a free account.
- 2
Add the stages of your sales funnel animation
Describe the funnel with its numbers and press Write with AI, or type the title, stages and values yourself, from the widest stage to the narrowest. Type plain whole numbers, without percent signs. The free frame check previews three stills and fixes any text that does not fit.
- 3
Render the sales funnel animation
Pick a theme and accent color, correct any value, and render the MP4 for about 10 credits. Browse more data video templates for charts, counters and rankings. The finished MP4 stays in your history, so you can update the numbers next month and render again.
What Can You Show with a Sales Funnel Animation?
Marketing and Growth Reports
Show how visitors become sign-ups, trials and customers in a monthly update, and let the takeaway name the step that needs work. A sales funnel animation is easier to follow in a meeting than a table of numbers. Render the wide frame for slides and the vertical frame for a team channel.
Sales Pipeline Reviews
Animate leads, qualified leads, demos, proposals and closed deals for a quarterly review, and let the takeaway name the stage where most deals stall. Use a currency sign as the unit to show pipeline value instead of a count. Pair the funnel with an animated counter video that celebrates the revenue you closed.
Courses, Coaching and Explainers
Teach how a funnel works with clear round example values, and let the takeaway say that the numbers are illustrative. Marketing teachers and creators can explain drop-off in under 15 seconds. Introduce the lesson with a kinetic typography generator clip.
Product and Onboarding Analysis
Show how many new users finish each onboarding step, from sign-up to the first project, and where most of them stop. A short sales funnel animation in the product team update makes the biggest drop-off obvious at a glance. Track the same stages every month to show progress, and keep the stage labels identical so viewers can compare one clip with the next.
