We built this comparison from public pages only. For AgentReel, we used its own product facts and the pricing page. For CapCut, we read its own site first: the home page, the AI video generator page, the Seedance 2.5 feature page, the Pro and Standard help article and the template pages. CapCut shows some plan prices only after you log in, so we took prices from pricing trackers updated in October 2026. We ran no tests and report no benchmark scores. Every CapCut fact links to the page it came from.

Tools that build finished posts

AgentReel does more than make single clips. The AI video ad generator writes a script, adds a voice-over, picks clips and places captions. The TikTok carousel tool makes photo carousels. B-roll Cut lines up B-roll with your voice-over. The lyric video maker turns a song into a lyric video. You also get ready-made video templates and a set of single-purpose image tools.

Clear credit costs

Every tool shows its credit price before a job starts. If a job fails, AgentReel refunds its credits automatically. You can buy a monthly or yearly plan, or a one-time credit pack.

CapCut

CapCut is a video and photo editor with AI built in. Its main strengths are hands-on editing and a large template catalog.

A full editor on every device

CapCut has an online editor to cut, trim, add transitions and add subtitles. Its Pro page lists a multi-layer timeline, a library of effects, transitions and audio, plus auto captions and background removal. Pro also covers editing on mobile, desktop and web, with up to 1TB of cloud storage. Pro adds team templates, brand libraries, review features and camera tracking.

CapCut runs public pages of trending templates and best templates, and each template shows a use count. This suits creators who follow trends on TikTok and Reels. Pro includes unlimited premium templates and commercial-use assets.

AI generation inside the editor

CapCut's AI video generator runs on Seedance 2.5. It lists over 100 digital avatars plus a brainstorming tool for topics and storyboards. Its Seedance 2.5 page says the model supports native 4K at up to 30 seconds, with a beta Long Video Mode up to 180 seconds. The same page says it generates audio along with the video. 4K output and Long Video Mode need Pro. Video Studio generates scripts, images, avatars, clips, subtitles and music. The home page says it builds a video after a quick chat.

Some limits apply. Models roll out by region. The Seedance 2.5 page says the model appears as it becomes available in your region. When Seedance 2.0 reached CapCut in March 2026, it launched in a few markets first, with protections against using real faces or unauthorized IP. Standard is sold only in the mobile app and caps exports at 1080p.
