Credits, plans and free usage
AgentReel uses one balance of credits for every tool. This page explains what a free account can do, how to get free credits, what plans and packs cost, and what typical projects cost. Everything here matches what you see on the pricing page.
Is it free? You can start free: Z-Image images, video template renders, Code to Video renders, one B-roll trial video and all free browser tools. Any purchase unlocks every model and tool. Every button shows the exact price before you start, and failed tasks are refunded automatically.
How credits work
- One balance pays every tool. Images, videos, templates, ads and B-roll all draw from the same credits.
- You see the price first. The button or the editor shows the exact credit cost before you start. Nothing is charged without that step.
- Failed tasks are refunded. If a task fails, the credits go back automatically to the pool they came from.
- Same speed for everyone. Free and paid accounts get the same processing speed.
- Your balance and every credit change are in Credit history.
What a free account can use
A free account is an account that has never made a purchase.

Invite credits are the one exception: they pay any tool and model, even on a free account (see below).
Free ways to get credits

Check-in credits pay only Z-Image images, video template renders and Code to Video renders. Invite credits pay any tool and any model, except the AI voice in the B-roll editor.
Subscription plans
Subscription credits arrive each billing month and reset at the start of the next one. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.

Which plan fits?
- Starter covers images, templates, short AI clips and B-roll videos. It does not cover one video ad: Starter gives 200 credits a month, and the shortest ad starts at about 222 credits.
- Pro covers about 4 short video ads a month.
- Ultra covers about 9 short video ads a month.

Order of spending
When you have credits from several sources, AgentReel spends them in this order:
- Check-in credits (only on the tools they can pay for)
- Invite credits
- Subscription credits
- One-time pack credits
Pack credits never expire, so they are spent last.
Refunds of failed tasks
If an image, a clip, a render or a step fails, the credits go back automatically to the pool they came from. You do not need to ask. For long jobs like the B-roll editor, we also email you why it stopped.
Payment refunds are a separate matter. Subscription fees for the current period and partly used packs are generally not refundable. If you have a problem with a purchase, contact support within 7 days. The full terms are in the refund policy.
Currencies and payment
Plan prices are listed in USD. Checkout shows your price in your currency. AgentReel supports 16 currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, SEK, NZD, BRL, MXN, INR, PLN, THB and KRW.
Card checkout is secure and handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Cancel anytime
Change or cancel your plan from Subscription. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your credits stay usable until then. More on billing in Your works, sharing and billing.
FAQ
Do credits expire?
Pack credits do not expire. Check-in credits expire at 00:00 UTC on the day they are claimed. Subscription credits reset each billing month and do not roll over.
What happens if a task fails?
The credits come back automatically to the pool they came from. You see the change in Credit history.
Does a purchase unlock everything?
Yes. Any purchase, a pack or a plan, unlocks every model and tool.
Can I still claim the daily check-in after I buy credits?
No. The daily check-in is for accounts that have never purchased.
Is Starter enough for a video ad?
No. Starter gives 200 credits a month, and a 15 second ad costs about 222 credits. Add a pack or choose Pro.
Is a paid account faster?
No. Everyone gets the same processing speed. Buying credits only skips the guest queue in the AI Image Generator.
