Getting started
AgentReel is one place to make videos and images with AI. You can turn your own clips and a script into a finished video, make a product ad, fill in a video template, or generate a clip or an image from one prompt. This guide shows which tool fits your project, how to sign in and how to finish your first video.
Is it free? Yes, to start. The free image tools, the clip tools and Z-Image images cost nothing or only free credits, video templates and Code to Video render with free check-in credits, and a new account gets one free B-roll video. Every other model and tool needs a purchase.

Create your account and sign in
You can sign in four ways:
- GitHub
- Email one-time code: we email you a code, you type it in.
- Magic link: we email you a link, you click it.
You do not need an account to try the AI Image Generator. As a guest, you wait in a free queue of about 15 seconds per image. Then you sign in to keep going. Buying credits skips the wait.
After you sign in, open Settings to set your name (up to 16 characters) and an avatar (up to 1 MB).
Your first project in 5 steps
The fastest way to see what AgentReel can do is a video template, because it renders with free check-in credits.
- Claim your free credits. Sign in with a verified account and claim the daily check-in from the banner. You get 15 credits once per UTC day.
- Pick a template. Open AI Video Templates and choose one, for example Product promo or Countdown.
- Describe it in one sentence. AI writes the text, colors and timing for you. This step is free.
- Check the preview. Edit any word, swap images and pick 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1. A free AI frame check fixes cut-off or hard-to-read text before you pay.
- Render and download. A render of up to 30 seconds costs 15 credits. The button shows the price before you start. If the render fails, the credits come back automatically.
Have your own footage? Try the AI B-Roll Editor instead. A new account gets one free B-roll video of up to 60 seconds.
Where your works go
Everything you make lands in My Works: every image, video, template, ad and B-roll output. From there you can view, download, share or delete each one.
- Your uploads and outputs are stored with your account. Only you see them in your dashboard, unless you share them.
- The share dialog posts to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Telegram, TikTok, WhatsApp, X and YouTube. AI writes a title, caption and hashtags for free.
- Your balance and every credit change are in Credit history.
